Best Budget GPU for Warzone

Brand: ASUS | Power Consumption: 175W | VRAM: 6 GB | Base Clock Speed: 1470 MHz | Boost Clock Speed: 1650 MHz | Power Supply: 550W

Price is affordable

Cooling is good

OC is easy

Not for heavy performance

For Budget Seekers

As you know it is not easy to get high frame rates and refresh rates on Warzone. And it is obvious that without a perfect graphics card you can not achieve those rates. So if you are building from scratch then this budget-friendly graphics card for Warzone is the best option for you.

Pixels & Framerates

The average frame rate is 144 frames per second or a bit low. So this is a card that is offering a sweet range of frame rates despite staying in the affordable price range.

However, since this card is a low price so you have to compromise on performance. The card can achieve 144 frames per second but it can go below. However, not lower than 100 frames per second.

Overclocking Performance

Overclocking any GeForce RTX 2060 Super is as simple as downloading one of the many available utilities, such as MSI Afterburner, and cranking up the power and temperature limits. I didn’t encounter any stability issues when testing factory overclocks on the Founders Edition card at either 120 or 140MHz GPU offsets.

However, I was only able to push our sample’s memory to +400MHz before artifacts became too intrusive in games. My results are consistent with other RTX 2060 Supers I’ve tested.

Overall, I was impressed with how far you can push the RTX 2060 Super with a simple offset overclock—it’s clear that Nvidia left significant headroom on the table for its partners to exploit.

The fact that you can add more than 25 percent extra performance with a few clicks bodes well for the cards’ potential overclocking headroom when custom-cooled models start shipping in earnest.

Cooling System

The Founders Edition RTX 2060 Super comes with a blower-style cooler that exhausts all hot air out the back of your case. It’s a departure from the Founders Edition coolers we’ve seen on other recent Nvidia cards, which use axial designs that push hot air out the sides of the card.

The decision to go with a blower-style cooler was likely driven by the fact that the RTX 2060 Super is a shorter card than its bigger brothers. The design also helps to keep costs down, since axial coolers are more expensive to manufacture.

The blower cooler does a good job of keeping the card cool, even when overclocked. When gaming at 4K with the card overclocked, I saw peak temperatures of just 72 degrees Celsius.

The RTX 2060 Super also has a low power draw, so it doesn’t generate a lot of heat in the first place. When gaming at 4K with the card overclocked, I saw a peak power draw of just 220 watts.

Drawbacks but not Dealbreakers

Since it is a mid-range GPU so you have to do some compromises with performance. You can not get 100% of high-level performance as we saw in RTX 3080 and 3070. However, you can play CoD very nicely without any shutting and lags.

So if you are tight on budget and you still have an urge to get a dedicated GPU for Call of Duty Warzone then go for it.

Why should you need a GPU for Call of Duty Warzone?

There are a few key benefits of having a dedicated GPU when playing Call of Duty Warzone. Firstly, a dedicated GPU will offer much better performance than an integrated GPU.

This is especially important in a fast-paced game like Warzone, where every frame counts. Secondly, a dedicated GPU will usually come with its own dedicated video memory.

This means that it will be less likely to slow down your system when Warzone is running, as it won’t be sharing resources with other applications. Finally, a dedicated GPU will often offer better support for advanced graphics features such as anti-aliasing and motion blur.

This can help to make Warzone’s visuals even more immersive and realistic. In short, if you’re serious about getting the most out of Call of Duty Warzone, then investing in a dedicated GPU is well worth it.

Nvidia Reflex Low Latency Technology

One of the things that set Nvidia’s GPUs apart from the competition is their Reflex Low Latency Technology. This technology is designed to reduce input lag, which can be a real problem in fast-paced games like Warzone.

Reflex works by reducing the time it takes for your GPU to process each frame. This means that your inputs will be registered faster, which can give you a significant advantage in games where every millisecond counts.

If you’re looking for the best possible performance in Warzone, then investing in a GPU with Reflex technology is a good idea.

AMD Radeon Anti-Lag

AMD’s version of Reflex Low Latency Technology is called Radeon Anti-Lag. Like Reflex, this feature is designed to reduce input lag by reducing the time it takes for your GPU to process each frame.

AMD’s version of Anti-Lag is a little different from Nvidia’s though. Rather than being built into the GPU itself, it’s actually a feature of AMD’s Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition driver.

This means that you’ll need to download and install the latest version of the driver in order to take advantage of it. However, once you have, you should see a significant reduction in input lag.

By now you should have picked your COD GPU. I have explained everything that you will need to decide which graphics card should you own.

Call of Duty is not an easy peasy game that can run on any kind of graphics. If you are willing to play at 144Hz and at ultra settings then you will need a very powerful graphics card. NVIDIA RTX 3080
is the best possible option that you can get your hands on.

But if you want to save some money and still get a good experience then Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060 Super is the best option for you. It is cheaper and still very powerful.

I hope this guide helped you in some way.
